The 4th Court welcomes Michael A. Cruz as its new Clerk of the Court

Last month, the Fourth Court of Appeals appointed Michael A. Cruz as the Clerk of the Court. He is a St. Mary’s University alumnus and a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. Michael has worked in Judicial Administration since 2011, serving as a Deputy Clerk and later, as Executive Assistant to Texas Supreme Court’s Justice Eva M. Guzman. Recently, Michael served as the Manager of Administrative Operations for the Human Resources Division of the Office of the Attorney General.  Although he called Austin “home” for the last 16 years, Michael is a native San Antonian who is delighted to return to his hometown.
