The Council of the Chief Justices and the Office of Court Administration have created a new type of staff attorney position. The staff attorney will assist justices in Texas courts of appeals remotely from place of business of the closest of court of appeals. For San Antonio area attorneys, this means that, if hired for the position, you’d be working at the 4th Court and follow the 4th Court’s personnel policies, but technically would be an employee of OCA and not the 4th Court. Supervision would be by the Chief of the Council of Chiefs. The full job posting is available here:
